I've been wanting to try out a micro needle roller for awhile now. You know I'm obsessed with anything skincare related and will try anything, bee venom, bentonite clay, my light therapy mask, but I will admit that I have been a little bit scared to try this one out.
I've been using it every other day for a few weeks now, and I have already seen some great results!
How it works:
It works from the inside out by triggering skin's natural healing process and inducing micro-regeneration deep within the skin. As surgical steel micro needles pass over your skin, the rejuvenation process begins immediately as your cells respond to thousands of imperceptible micro channels by creating new collagen and restoring skins volume. Essentially, its tricking your skin into thinking it's experiencing trauma, and that faux trauma alerts collagen to rush to the skins surface to repair it. Since there is not really a trauma there to repair, it just grows new collagen that helps diminish wrinkles, scars, stretch marks, and other irregularities. When used immediately before your skin care products, it provides passageways for your skincare products to dive directly down to the deepest layers of the skin. It helps your topical skin care products be absorbed by your skin 200 times more effectively. How to use:
After cleansing, use light pressure, and roll over each area 4-10 times changing direction with each pass. Your skin will appear pink or flushed after using. Next, go straight to your skincare products; I love to use Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Moisturizer, and PCA Perfecting Neck And Décolleté. (those neck wrinkles KILL me!) After, you can also use a LED light therapy mask. Cells exposed to LED light grow an overwhelmingly 150 to 200 percent faster than non stimulated cells, so I highly recommend using a light therapy mask after.
