I FINALLY made this ricotta dip from Wishbone Kitchen, and it is incredible. If you love garlic, you are sure to love this! It is so quick and easy to make. But beware - after frying the garlic, my whole little studio apartment smells like garlic.
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole milk ricotta
- 5-6 cloves garlic very thinly sliced
- pinch of fresh thyme
- ¼ cup olive oil
- hot honey for drizzling
- flaky salt
- toasted bread for dipping
Instructions
- First, fry the garlic. Place a small pan or sauce pan over medium low heat and add the olive oil. Once the oil is hot, but not too hot, add the sliced garlic and a pinch of fresh thyme. Cook while stirring until just barley golden brown. Using a slotted spoon, transfer fried garlic to a paper towel lined plate to cool. Set the oil aside to cool.
- Spread the ricotta on a plate. Spoon over garlic oil and top with fried garlic and thyme. Drizzle with hot honey. Finish with flaky salt. Serve with warm bread.
