If you’re looking for a simple and healthy treat for your furry friend, look no further! Wilder's Favorite Pumpkin Cookies are not only easy to make but also packed with wholesome ingredients. With just three main ingredients, you can whip up a batch of delicious cookies that will have your pup wagging their tail in excitement!

Ingredients

  • 1 can of pure organic pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 4 cups of organic whole wheat flour
  • 2 organic eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Mix It Up: In a large mixing bowl, combine the pure organic pumpkin, organic eggs, and whole wheat flour. Stir until everything is well combined and forms a dough. If the dough feels too sticky, add a little more flour until it reaches a workable consistency.

  3. Roll Out the Dough: Sprinkle some flour on your work surface and roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick. Use your favorite cookie cutters—like these adorable personalized dog cookie cutters to create fun shapes. Wilder loves his special cookie cutter shapes!

  4. Bake: Place the cookie shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 20 minutes or until they turn golden brown.

  5. Cool and Store: Let the cookies cool completely before serving them to your pup. To store any extras, keep them in the freezer, and take out a few treats whenever Wilder deserves a special snack!

Why Pumpkin?

Pumpkin is not only tasty but also offers several health benefits for dogs. It’s rich in fiber, which can help with digestion, and it’s low in calories, making it a great treat for pups on a diet. Plus, it’s packed with vitamins A, C, and E, promoting overall health.
