The series has such a Gossip Girl-esque vibe, with all the drama, betrayal, and complex relationships that make it impossible to put down. The characters are flawed and messy, yet somehow so likeable and real. Watching Magnolia and Daisy go through their individual journeys was emotionally gripping, and the relationships they build—especially between Daisy and Christian—are something I really loved. There’s definitely change and growth for every character, which is one of the things that kept me coming back for more.
That being said, Magnolia Parks: Into the Dark felt a bit slower and more boring compared to the earlier books. I think this was because Magnolia and BJ didn’t have as much drama or tension between them, which made things feel a little less intense. But, on the flip side, it was nice to see them finally calm down and find some peace. Their character growth—especially BJ’s—was incredibly rewarding, and I enjoyed seeing how they both evolved in the book.
While there are still grammatical errors throughout the series that can be a bit distracting, it doesn’t take away from how memorable and engaging this series is. The relationships, the drama, and the unpredictable twists kept me hooked, and I can’t wait for the next book. Overall, this universe has definitely earned its place among my favorite series. It’s an addictive ride, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves messy, character-driven stories with a lot of emotional depth.
