Oura Ring vs. Superhuman Ring

I have an IUD and no periods, so tracking my cycle can be tricky. Luckily, smart rings like the Oura Ring and Superhuman Ring offer temperature tracking to help with cycle prediction. Knowing where you're at in your cycle can actually help explain shifts in your mood, energy levels, and even things like appetite or sleep. It can also help you figure out what your body needs during different phases whether that’s rest, movement, or certain nutrients. I think having that kind of insight could be really beneficial for both my physical and mental well-being, but the question is which one should I buy? I've been doing a lot of research on the two - and by research I mean watching TikTok's.

Oura Ring

The Oura Ring is a well-established smart ring known for its sleek design and comprehensive health tracking. It offers temperature monitoring, which is great for tracking your cycle even without periods. The Oura also tracks sleep, activity, and recovery, making it a fantastic overall wellness tool. Battery life last about 8 days, and costs $499 for the yellow gold.

Pros:

  • Accurate temperature tracking for cycle prediction

  • Reliable brand with good customer reviews

Cons:

  • Monthly subscription fee of $5.99

  • Yellow gold band costs extra

Superhuman Ring

The Superhuman Ring is a newer option on the market and offers the same great features for performance, sleep, and cycle tracking. It’s known for being lighter and thinner than the Oura Ring, which could make it more comfortable for all-day wear. Plus, it’s more affordable at $349, and doesn’t require a subscription. Battery life last about 6 days.

Pros:

  • Lighter and thinner design for better comfort

  • No subscription fees

Cons:

  • Newer product, so it hasn’t had as much time to prove its long-term reliability

I've seen a lot of videos about the Ultrahuman ring not having a good battery life, but when they reach out to customer service they response is really good and they get a new ring shipped out to them. I also saw one video where the girl was saying that the first 2 weeks the ring is gathering all your base data so it takes more battery and after the 2 week mark the battery life gets better.

I think I'm leaning more towards the Superhuman ring because it's cheaper, no subscription, and a little less bulky.

Which one do you have, and how do you like it??
